About Us

Democratise Farming Knowledge

Singapore currently relies heavily on the international market, with over 90% of our food being imported. Our food supply faces potential threats from supply chain disruptions and climate change.

Growing our own food is the only way to ensure everyone in Singapore has access to safe and nutritious food at an affordable price. Here at Arise & Farm, we aim to spread the knowledge of farming asian greens to motivate individuals to kickstart their own ways of growing food.

Mission & Vision

In tandem with Singapore’s 30 by 30 vision, Arise & Farm aims to spearhead a movement to promote urban farming, starting with our young. We achieve this through organising workshops and farm learning journeys with National Library Board, engaging the public in farming activities and lessons.

In 2021, we started out with constructing farming facilities in schools, to imbue students with the appreciation of where our food comes from and farming knowledge so that they can spread the practice of 'edible community gardens' throughout our country.

In 2022, we launch “Arise&Farm - Engaging Communities” together with National Library Board, to engage the wider community in farming.
